Fast Friends they became…  Allie got to spend some cold winter nights in the house and she really enjoyed hanging with Kate.  Especially while Kate was in her highchair eating!!! 

Catching Up...

Okay, so I’m a little behind!  Here we go, back to Christmas.  Of course we had a BALL!  Kate got her first kitchen set and Jack’s clear favorite was his wakeboard.  It might seem logical that the “big” gift of the wakeboard should have come from Santa, but Jack was pretty sure that his daddy needed to pick it out!  So, from daddy it came…

Perfect Match...

Okay, one more in the green dress. I'm just a bit obsessed about the fact that it's SO precious, but she can only wear it this one month!!! That is, until next year because it's a 24 months so she WILL wear it again next year. Okay, so my Mom bought it for her on Friday and she's already worn it to three events. But, the point of the post is look at the green sweater on Jack. I literally bought it on Ebay months ago and just LOOK at how exactly matches the dress??? Amazing, right? Dumb luck? Whatever it is, it's just precious. I can't believe my babies are growing up so big! Last year, Jack was struggling to hold Kate up in front of the Christmas tree and this year she's totally hanging with him!

A little funny that Jack said recently... Ever since lake season was over, he's been pretty obsessed with getting a wakeboard from Santa. Well, he was making his list one day, but he left off the wakeboard so i asked him if he didn't want it anymore. He said, with a hint of a "smarty pants" tone, "Oh mama, Santa can't bring me a wakeboard because Daddy needs to pick it out!!!

I think I would have been more worried if Kate had been perfectly comfortable with the strange man with a long white beard!!!!!
