Learning to ski!

Jack put it best, he said,

"That was AWESOME"!!!

And indeed it was!

He skied for a LONG time today,

I even got to get in the boat on the last run and

he skied until he got tired!

New surprises every day!

Oh my. It was just Wednesday at our 9 month check up that I said, a bit joyously I might add... Can she stand? Oh no! She's rocking on her hands and knees, and she looks like she might be thinking about pulling up and standing, but she certainly can't do it yet!!! Well, much to my surprise, Nan and Gran Dan said, did you know she can stand??? What the ??!!##**??? Are you kidding me, well here's proof.

The picture isn't great, but she was moving around cracking up at her brother's silliness! At her 9 month check-up, she weighed in at a whopping 22.5 pounds!!! She's officially outgrown the carrier and has now graduated to the Britax. Brother is actually pretty proud of her because she's big enough to sit in HIS old seat!!!

Kate took her first real lake swim this weekend and she loves it!

Jack was SOOOO brave as he made his first efforts to try and learn to ski!!! He did SUPER!

Okay, so i've taken a little break from blogging. It was only for 2 years or so!!! I tried to hit the high points of 2007 to catch up a bit. I can thank my friend Carmen for the inspiration to start again. Can I keep it up? Maybe with monthly inspiration coming from girl's night out. Well, here we go...

The Diva!

Kate was a champ on the boat again yesterday! She wore these sunglasses for about 5 hours and never even touched them. I think that's a sign of a girl who knows not to mess with a great accessory!!!
